About us

La Perouse Precinct BoundariesThis is the official website of the La Perouse Precinct.  We are one of eleven precincts comprising the Randwick Local Government Area.  Sixteen precincts were set up by a resolution passed by Council on 30th August 1994.  Although the resolution refers to us as committees, we have always operated as a resident-run group. We support Council's commitment to consult and engage with the local community in its decision-making process.

We operate in accordance with Council's Precinct Rules and Procedures to protect and improve our precinct.  We hold public meetings at 7pm on the first Monday of the month that is not a public holiday (except in January) at Prince Henry Centre.  It is open to all residents, businesses and rate payers of La Perouse, Little Bay, Phillip Bay, Chifley, Randwick section of Port Botany, and Matraville south of Botany Road.
