Dear Randwick Residents,

La Perouse Precinct will be holding its Meet the Candidates forum for South Ward candidates from 7pm to 9pm on Monday 4th September at Prince Henry Centre.  It is open to all residents of Randwick irrespective of precinct.

Eleven candidates are running for the South Ward in four groups:

  • Noel D'Souza, Carlos Da Rocha and Russell Fairfax as Independents;
  • Richard Smolenksi and Boris Glushankov from Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party;
  • Andrew Hay, Kirsty Russell and Catherin Tirado from Liberal Party; and
  • Danny Said, Leanne Huges and Riley Campbell from Labour Party

Each candidate (irrespective of group) will be given three minutes to make their opening statement before questions, and two minutes to sum up at the end.  One candidate from each group (nominated by the group) will be given a minute to respond to questions from residents.

This is an opportunity for you to meet the candidates and ask them questions on how they will represent you.  Please email your questions together with a list of issues that you would like the candidates address in their opening statements to:

precinct.laperouse@gmail.com

You will also have an opportunity to submit questions at the forum.

A collated list of issues will be emailed to all candidates attending no later than 10am on Monday.

Kind regards,

Jayasooriah
Chairperson
